America is founded on the rights we enjoy by nature and nature's God.

Sometimes it is more proper to act on these matters than it is to instruct in them.

Such a time is now.

Terri Schiavo, the living but disabled young woman in Florida is on the verge of being put to death by starvation, with the knowledge and tacit approval of public authority.

But there are still legal measures that could be taken to save her life.
