It is now evident that America and the coalition have won a decisive military victory over the tyrant in Iraq.

We at the Foundation extend our thanks to them and our President.

There is much work to be done to make real the Declaration Principle of self-government in Iraq, and we are confident that America will stretch every nerve to achieve this result.

We are also hopeful that our leaders and people will stay the course in what must be a long campaign--political, diplomatic, and sometimes military--to secure our nation and the world from the evil of terrorism.

It is a noble and necessary cause, and we will carry it through.

We best honor those who fell in these battles by persevering, until victory has been won everywhere terror has a sanctuary or a breeding ground.
